Questions
Do I need to pay?
Not to start. Trigonometry identities and reduction is free with a free Elite Scholars account. The other topics are part of the pack: R149 once-off per paper, access until 31 December 2026.
Who can pay: the learner or a parent?
Either. A learner can buy the pack in their own account by card or EFT. Or the learner adds a parent or guardian under Payers in their account, and the parent buys it for them from their own account.
I have the Paper 1 pack. Does it include Paper 2?
No. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are separate packs, R149 each. Buying one does not open the other.
How are the geometry questions marked?
Like the NSC memo: type the value and tap Check, then choose a reason for each statement. Each right reason earns a mark.
Can I use a calculator?
Yes, where the paper allows one. Questions that need a calculator say so and tell you how to round.
Is it the real exam?
No. We use original questions written in the style of the NSC Paper 2, not copies of past papers. The official DBE past papers and memos are free on the DBE website, and we recommend working through them too.
