Support Elite Scholars

Support Elite Scholars

Help a learner get real help. From R 800.

Sponsor tutoring or university applications for a learner whose family cannot afford them. You pay for a real service, a vetted tutor or advisor delivers it, and we tell you when it is done.

How sponsorship works.

Simple, and you hear back.

  1. 1

    You choose and pay

Online, by card or instant EFT. You receive an invoice.

  2. 2

We match it to a learner

Learners apply for a sponsored place. They qualify if they attend a no-fee school (quintile 1 to 3) or their household qualifies for NSFAS.

  3. 3

A vetted tutor or advisor delivers it

Your payment pays the person who does the work and keeps the platform running.

  4. 4

We tell you it is done

By email. A learner's name or results are only shared with a parent's written consent.

  5. 5

    Or your money back

If we cannot place your sponsorship within six months, we refund you in full.

Any amount, through our giving page. Read the note below first.

Who you are paying.

  • Elite Scholars is a company, Elite Vision Holdings (Pty) Ltd. It is not a charity and not a registered Public Benefit Organisation.
  • A sponsorship is a purchase of our services for a learner. It is not tax-deductible under Section 18A.
  • A gift through our giving page is income to the company. For individuals, the first R150,000 you give away in a tax year is exempt from donations tax.
  • If a referral partner sent you here, they may earn a commission on what you pay.
  • We plan to set up a non-profit arm in 2027. We will say so here when it exists.

Need a sponsored place?

Learners at no-fee schools, or whose household qualifies for NSFAS, can apply. A parent or guardian applies for learners under 18.
